All saints' eve! I love that book and I love Amelia edwards so much. She was indeed. In fact she was one of a handful of writers that Charles Dickens called upon to produce ghost and weird tales for the Christmas editions of his magazine. As ever, Gaslight is a good place to sample a few of her stories. In fact, Gaslight is a very good place to spend many a dark winter's night.
